So there are these pictures I found on http://www.fyeahlolita.com/2010/02/old-school-lolita-in-90s-80s-and-70s.html and I was wondering if this form of lolita could be talked about on a page?
I know in todays standards, this would be considered Ita, but still.
Just Updated
I have this exact dress minus the bow, I bought it secondhand.
Just looking for advice!

I'm A Filipino, However, I Wish To Get Into Lolita Fashion, But I'm Not Japanese! In Fact, When I Look Up "Filipino Fashion" On Google, The Only Things That Pop Up Are Basic Ternos, However When I Look Up "Japanese Fashion" On Google, I Get Cool Harajuku And Lolita Fashions! Does This Mean I Can't Wear Lolita Or Harajuku BC I'm Not Japanese?/gen
This can also be called aomoji kei I think?
I’d like to find lolita dresses which have a lower waistline.. X_X I find that most dresses are quite high waisted… :< Does anybody know any good keywords and where to look for low waisted lolita dresses?… I haven’t been able to find any good tips on it-

Angelicpretty is probably my favorite “name brand” Lolita brand but like
CAN YOU BLAME ME ITS SO PRETTY
One of my goals for 2024 is to get an angelicpretty jsk
Alr, here’s the thing. I want to buy a new lolita coord for a convention i’m going to in April (let’s call it Goofy-Con).
She says I can wear any costume of my choice, as long as I can find it on Amazon (that’s the only thing she trusts), and it costs $100 max.
Here’s my buildup. It’s a bit plain, but it’ll work.
Here’s the JSK I want to work with. I particularly liked the star motif here. (just the JSK, nothing else featured in image)
Price: 44$
Here’s the hair accessories I want to use, some matching star hair clips.
Price: 9$
Obv we need a petticoat!
Price: 20$
The blouse to go with it.
Price: 27$
Total price: 99$
We barely stayed within budget, but we did it!!
Obv since it’s a budget coord and stuff, it’s not absolutely stunning, but if I do my hair and makeup right I think it could be really cute!!
istg it’s so pretty im in love
I mean, her outfit does follow the lolita silhouette, and considering that this is her “casual/civillian” outfit, we can infer she wears stuff like this pretty regularly.
This is my first ever coord, and I really don’t wanna start out as an ita. is this an ok coord for a beginner or should I change something?
It feels a little bit stereotypical and I’m worried that the shoes i plan on wearing with it (black penny loafers) won’t go well. Maybe the headpiece is too ruffly? Any advice?
I am a baby Lolita, I only have one coord and it’s very new
I really really don’t want to be called an ita so I want to look for a place to get advice from more advanced Lolitas
The problem is I am still a teenager and don’t rlly have much socials besides a private insta acc
I have a sailor Lolita coord I want to ask to a more advanced Lolita if I can call it Lolita- since I don’t want to be called an ita
Anyways here’s a discription of the outfit
Long Sleeve Sailor Lolita Dress (It’s from Strawberry Witch but I purchased it from 42 Lolita)
It falls just above the knees
I have a petticoat dw
White socks that fall just below the knees
White bow headband
So I am ordering my first Lolita coord soon, it’s sailor Lolita.
Now I’m not ordering shoes- bc ordering shoes is sorta out of my price range…
Also shoes like that have a habit of hurting my feet-
I plan on wearing my coord out to the mall when I get it so I was wondering if it’s ok to wear Lolita with regular shoes?
The only shoes I’m really comfortable in are vans and converse,
And I dont want to look like an ita-
So, my aesthetic is probably Helena Bonham Carter as Mrs. Lovette, but make it lolita. I won’t be suprised if its just sleep deprived goth or ero lolita, but i feel like its more than that.
Can someone add Pink Ribbon to the list of medias in fiction pls ? I made the page but it’s not letting me edit from browser
