Nun Lolita (修道女ロリ) is a style of Lolita that is inspired by the orthodox clothing of nuns. It is mostly done by Gothic Lolita brands.

The feature is that it is based on black or dark blue color and uses symbols such as crosses that show christianity. Coifs, also known as the black veil that catholic nuns wear, are avoided because they make the outfits look more like Cosplay rather than Lolita fashion. Headwear is usually sheer black veils or monochrome headdresses.
